International Women’s Day is 8 March, and World Water Day is 22 March. Join me as I present at an International Water Resources Association (IWRA) webinar titled “World Water Day 2026: Where Water Flows, Equality Grows – Women Shaping the Present and Future of Water.” With my brilliant co-authors Dr Anna Kosovac and Glen Kuecker, I will discuss (with due positionality) how technocratic approaches to water management have generated a moral hazard of unreflective dependence, and how they ultimately exhibit a power-dominant approach seen by critical-theoretical literature as an unduly masculine perspective in natural resource management.
